Najma Hush: ‘One Woman, Two Passions and a Very Big Personality!’
Published poet and fine art photographer, Najma Hush has been writing poetry for over 19 years. Dedicating time to the study of Eastern Sufi Poetry and English Literature, Najma Hush has analysed various ancient works in other languages such as Persian, Urdu, Punjabi and Arabic; revising from original text, relearning translations and transliterations in order to create her own authentic style of poetry, to bring together both Eastern and Western philosophies, to compliment the hybrid culture of our conventional age.
Hush is also the author of hypertext fiction, A Life of Recluse (2007), which was and still is the first ever hypertext fiction to collaborate a literary narrative with still imagery and music videos to tell an authentic tale about British culture and political freedom: http://www.alifeofrecluse.wordpress.com.
