Don’t Tell…

Crazy Mobile Uploads XIII:  A Poetography video by Najma Hush.  All clips have been captured by PhotoGiraffe, using a mobile phone, creating a rustic, authentic feel to the piece.  This video features images of various swinging aerial dancers, circus performers, candid shots of dancing spectators, smoking cats and flashing lightning.  With tasters from the SwingaMaJig Fest’15 and Cirque Du Soul  (Birmingham, UK).   Although all the images and the poem are mine own, I do not own any copyrights to the music used herewith.   Other than the short clip of Nick Baya on Saxophone  playing with The Jenova Collective at the opening of this piece, the main track used to accompany this Poetography video is Vladimir Horowitz playing Frédéric Chopin’s, “Raindrop” Prelude in D flat Major, Op.28 No.15.

Butterfly Two: Twin Flames

Twin Flames

Twin Flames

Yesterday I saw two identical butterflies dancing in my garden.

What a pretty sight to behold.

Perfectly synchronized they were with every loop and swirl.

I ran towards them in delight and they circled me

as if I were a prop – a part of their dance.

I know it may not be much to some,

but I felt as if I were the only one,

the wealthiest person alive

– for them to have acknowledged me thus

and let me in on some sort of secret…

Regarding last weeks Solar Eclipse,  the first one I have ever seen and was truly moved by the spectacular experience and very much humbled by it also, that it inspired me to write this poem accompanied by all the photographs I managed to capture without blinding myself.  I have set the text and images to Claude Debussy’s, Prelude No.10: La Cathedrale Engloutie to signify the call to prayer and also dubbed this audio further with audios of morning Bird songs.  Please do let me know what you think, as I would be grateful for any feedback which may help me improve my craft.
