Corpus Christi Carol

Corpus Christi Carol is a Middle or Early Modern English hymn (or carol), first found by an apprentice grocer named Richard Hill in a manuscript written around 1504. The original writer of the carol remains anonymous. Here it has been presented as a Poetograph, upon which not all the lyrics are as important as the image itself and the meaning which is derived is dependent upon what is prevalent for the reader.  This will also be effected how well the reader is familiar with the original lyrics.

As part of an ongoing project to conduct experiments of Poetography:  the union of Poetry and Photography to create as an autonomous work of art.  Inspired by the spirit of Christmas, Jesus Christ and Grace, the Album, by singer, singer writer, Jeff Buckley.
